edge numbering in XSI 4.0

edge numbering in XSI 4.0

Hi all,

it seems to me that they changed the numbering method of edges in poly
meshes in XSI 4.0.

I modelled something in XSI 4.0 and exported it via dotxsi to XSI 3.51.
Unfortunately it doesn't export hard edges so I created clusters

in XSI 4.0 to reassign the hard edges in XSI 3.51..and was shocked! The
clusters were completely different. The numbers for the edges remained
the same

but edge 1001 in xsi 4.0 is in another location than in XSI 3.51.

So be careful with clusters when exporting them back to 3.51. But why
did they change this?

Any ideas?

thanks

Morris Willner
