Duplicating Shape Animation

Duplicating Shape Animation

2004-06-19       - By Jamie McDonnell - Character Rigging / Animation TD

Hay list...

Cloning a mesh with shape animation on does seem to work...

Once you've cloned it, right click the Cluster Shape Combiner, and disable from
here, then freeze the CopyOp. If you then emvelope this to the required bones
(Mine's part of a shrink-wrapped leg muscle system for me Kangaroo...) it
becomes a free standing mesh with all the shape animation still correctly link
-with'd. All you have to do then is alter the link-with expressions to the angle
of the bone on the other side of the skeleton.

Class, learned something new :)

Tar now,
