clone with transfer modes?

clone with transfer modes?

Anyone know how to do this?  I want to merge paint in "lighten" or "darken"
mode but I seem to only be able to brush paint in "lighten" mode or
merge paint
in "normal" mode but what I want to do is basically "clone" in "lighten"
and
"darken" mode.
