Two more XSI v.4.0 DVDs are done and ready to ship out!
Yup, we produced two more DVDs aimed at the XSI beginner who needs to
learn how to use the lighting and rendering tools to get professional
results. I called them 'SIMPLE LIGHTING' and 'SIMPLE RENDERING' even
though they cover stuff like volumic lights, final gathering, using
HDRI images and hooking up render trees because I wanted to set the
expectation that these would be simple, easy to follow, aimed at new
people on your teams just getting up to speed. The DVDs are fairly
short (an hour and an hour and a half) because they are sped up and
edited down, not just camtasiad as I worked. They are also cheap, to
make them easy to approve for purchase. And, if you don't want to wait
for the delivery (only a few days, we actually waited to get them in
this time before announcing them) you can buy a streaming version and
see it immediately.

and from stores in a few weeks.
As usual, I made a version of each WHOLE DVD available for free
streaming download in the form we call the 'short attention span
theater'. Of course, the 9 gig DVD is sped up to 2 minutes long and
compressed to 2 mb, but you can see exactly what is in the full product
before you buy it!
