XSI SPine change in 4.0

XSI SPine change in 4.0

I was looking ta the spine in 4.0 with some students and realized that it is a
bit different than in v3.5

In 3.5 you could move the chest object as far from the spine as you wanted and
all the spine vertebra would remain at a fixed length, however in 4.0, the
spine vertebra keep scaling with the curve as its pulled away from its resting
place.

The other consideration is the object named 'vertebra' at the top of the spine.
It remains fixed in terms of the length of the original distance between the
chest and hip object, but the rest of the vertebra do not remain a fixed length
... Perhaps this is more of a guide than anything, but it seems a little
confusing..

The setup between the spines in 3.5 and 4.0 doesn't look any different, yet
there is this slight change in operability. I can't figure out why theres this
difference. has anyone come across this yet?

A suggestion for the spine would be to have a toggle box to allow for spine
stretching.

Adam
