some javascript sliders.
noticed scene needs to be preferences now in version4, so here's one for
v4, dragndrop link to netview:
http://www.grahamdclark.com/Studentresources/tutorials/XSIGUI/gdcXSIv4GU
InetEg.html
or just open this in xsi netview for version 3.5:
http://www.grahamdclark.com/Studentresources/tutorials/XSIGUI/gdcXSIGUIn
etEg.html
sorry no addon yet for v4 no time
http://www.grahamdclark.com/Studentresources/links/generallinks/download
s.htm#Anchor-XSIGUI-30528 (See http://GUI-30528.ora-code.com)

perhaps using layers allowed to freely move them around within a box or
circle instead of locked in a track like here might work.
Keeping them within a box works well for facial controls too.

sorry pretty sloppy, could be better done now  :/

and .... some time ago someone posted some rather nice examples of
javascripted sliders in html for the netview. I don't have them anymore
but I'm sure they couldn't have been that tricky.

There's also PerlTK, I guess, although the couple of times I've messed
with it it's been a bit weird.

If you feel like getting your hands dirty with the low level stuff have
a look into CDH (custom display host).

Anything can be fed into it and drawn/interacted with by whatever
methods you prefer.

Subject: custom widgets

Is it possible to create custom widgets in XSI?  I want to create a
color selection widget that allows the color to be specified in CIE xyY
coordinates.  I haven't found any references to custom widgets in the
SDK documentation.
