and .... some time ago someone posted some rather nice examples of
javascripted sliders in html for the netview. I don't have them anymore but
I'm sure they couldn't have been that tricky.

If you feel like getting your hands dirty with the low level stuff have a
look into CDH (custom display host).

Anything can be fed into it and drawn/interacted with by whatever methods
you prefer.

Is it possible to create custom widgets in XSI?  I want to create a color
selection widget that allows the color to be specified in CIE xyY
coordinates.  I haven't found any references to custom widgets in the SDK
documentation.
