ShapeKeys and UVs

Hi Brad,

I am not sure I entirely follow you. What would I link to the custom
slider to control the UV change? I am not sure how to store different UV
changes per shape.

Thanks Ben and Graham, I am playing with that script now. I don't know
yet if it will do what I want.

You could link each shape weight along with its UV change to a
custom slider per shape. Then animate your sliders.

  Or

Directly link the UV animation to the shape weight slider.

    Hey everyone,

I have a question about shapekeys in 4.0

Is it possible to store/save shapekeys with UVs? What I
am after is to change the shape of an object and the UVs to store/save
both into a shapekey. So that the shape animation will not only be shape
but UVs.

I have instances where an object needs to have shape
animation but the shapes are just extreme enough to stretch the
textures. I was hoping to counter act that by adjusting the UVs along
with the shape.

Can this be done? Or is there a work around?

    Thanks!
