there's an option, though, I seem to recall that allows you to not do this.

freeze is evil it makes them raw, (unless that's ok and you don't need to
edit fcurves later)

Select your clip in the mixer and do a Clip > Freeze to new source. Give it
an explicite name ( "new_source" in my example)

Then, delete the clip in the mixer to completly remove your animation.
Select the "new_source" in the explorer and do : Actions > Apply > Action.

Et voilà !

Sorry I sent this off with the wrong subject line last time.

I was wondering if u could help me with a quick question.

I have a character with an animated clip in the mixer.....I wanna convert
the mixer back to normal animation.
