Hi Fabrice,
I did have such problems as well, with 3.5.11.
Just to do a test, go in the registry, and search for Dirtmap. You might see the path pointing to a wrong location.
What was wrong with me is that if I created a workgroup path, then changing this workgroup path would NOT properly unregister the shader spdl path. So even if I was using the new workgroup path, the registry keys values were pointing to the old workgroup path.
The only -reliable- solution was to uninstall XSI, and use a registry cleaner utility to remove everything pertaining to Softimage, then reinstall.
I could never pinpoint the exact cause of this, it seems to happen only once in a while.
Cheers Bernard
