Hi Fabrice,

I am working on a similar issue, Is this with BatchServe 1.5 or 1.5.3?  Can you
confirm that the account that is logging on to the XSI Batchserve service is
the same for the XP boxes as the Win2k.  Can you also tell us what the log file
is recording?

/Will

Subject: issue with workgroup shaders , XP and batchserve

Hi guys,

we have 2 new XP workstations ( the rest is Win 2000 ).
I've installed 4.0 on all machines,  with dirtmap as a workgroup shader.
Everything seems fine appart from :

On the 2 XP machines, dirtmap is fine when rendering from the GUI but
when rendering on batchserve the shader is missing (replaced by the default
shader).

The log says XSI cannot register dirtmap.spdl.

I've tried with the diffraction shader and the same thing happens.

Any advice ?

Thanks,
F.
