OGL & Displacement ?

OGL & Displacement ?

Hello there :)

Yep Guillaume, that's what I'm trying to achieve.

Bernard, that's it ! Thank you ! I'm gonna have a look at it. I think I'll work
on a mediumly subdivided sea-grid to have a good visual feedback.
One thing though, this plugs seems to work with Subd Meshes only. My sea-grid
is a nurb surface. I've tried with some Subd grid, but the results are less
good ( less acurate, artifact apearing)  than with Nurbs grid ( which is
smoother ).

Is it me who badly set the "fine displacement setting" , or is it something
normal ?

None the less I can still use the Subd as visual ref...

Thanx again !

Isn't there a tool in the MindThink Tools that does that?

You mean like in LightWave ?  HighRez polymesh deformed by an image and be
able to see it in the viewport or save it with the "displacement deformation" ?

     Objet : OGL & Displacement ?

     Hello all :)

Is there a way to see some displacement in OGL ?
I'm doing a sea with a boat on it. I'd like to emit some particles where
the boat and the sea meet (make some foam), maybe through a colision event. but
as the displace doesn't really affect the geometry, I'm wondering what am I
suppose to do ?

     Any enlightment ?

     Thank you :)
