losing setting in fcurve editor

Close all the AE windows first after turning on the option, close the Prefs
window last, then open a new EA window and check the prefs again. This pattern
works in my tests.

OK I've tried doing it in every order possible (closing the preferences first,
then the AE first, etc, etc...) and I still get the same result.

If you leave the preferences open, you see that it's when you open the AE that
it changes not when you close it.

Strange.  I can repro it very easily...

Here's the thing Dan.
When you turn on preferences.fcurve_editor.show_keys_always then click on the
window's X 'icon' to exit and close that AE window, you're in effet savong the
prefs for the AE. That's why in our case we cannot reproduce the problem. I
mentioned a refrsh issue earlier, but was not exactly right, I should have
mentioned that must exit the window in order to 'save' the prefs. Does that
make sense. Can you pls try it that way on your end and let us know if you
still experience the same issues.

No, I can't see how it could be, the check box toggles off the second you open
the AE.  i.e. it's not just not showing the points, it toggles off the
preference in front of you!

CreatePrim "Cone", "MeshSurface"

SaveKey "cone.kine.local.posx,cone.kine.local.posy,cone.kine.local.posz", 1

LastFrame

Translate , 0, 3.3865724442665, 0, siRelative, siGlobal, siObj, siXYZ, , , , ,
, , , , , 0

SaveKey "cone.kine.local.posx,cone.kine.local.posy,cone.kine.local.posz", 100

InspectObj "preferences.fcurve_editor", "all", "FCurveEditor Preferences", "
:siLockAndForceNew:siInspectMode"

SetValue "preferences.fcurve_editor.show_keys_always", True

Keep the preferences window open.  Now open the AE and watch it switch off.....

Might also be a refresh issue. If you still obtain the same results, then
perhaps you should take a look at your grfx card and drv situation, as there
might a display issue in your case.
