Hi Tom,
Under Windows, embedded fonts are extracted to the TEMP directory and installed for the duration that Director project is open/running. So first find out what your TEMP (or TMP) path is. Under XP/2000, look here (menu access, not a path):
My Computer/Properties/Advanced/Environment Variables
Then browse to that path with Windows Explorer. Then open your old project file in Director. You should see a *.tmp file(s) created that path, something like AAX4A1.tmp, that's probably the font file, so copy it somewhere and rename it's extension to TTF, double-click on it, and see if that's the one you want.
