Back Elaborate please? Don't really know what you mean by hard linked files. Is that a Linux term? I am referring to 2K boxes.
Certainly wasn't a nonissue when it stopped my rendering dead in its tracks a few weeks ago and no one on this list (or on the staff of my alma mater or at Softimage) could come up with a solution.
