Stop curve flow 2003-11-17 - By Aleksandar Stiglic
Back While using effects -> curve flow, I need to stop particle flow at some frame. Curve which they are atached to is still moving, so I can't stop it with current time or with taking off dynamics. So I figured I can do this by changing age, and swaping age attribute which goes to position array with some custom attribute. But the age is not connected insted it's ageNormalized. Does anyone know how this can be calculated from age values? I solved this by replacing ageNormalized with custom attribute, who takes this value until certain frame, then also keying Lifespan attribute which changes to very high number from same frame, and killing the emittion at the same frame too. But is there any nicer/quicker solution for this? I've was trying to change runtime expression in order to do this, but didn't come with good result as yet.
Thanks
Al
