The group I work with gets a lot of requests for demos of web-pages from an
internet provider, and I was wondering if it would make sense to animate some
of the screenshots in Director 3D.   We're basically just slowly moving a
web-page on the screen, and zooming into portions of the screen.   Right now,
it's
done in After Effects and converted into a Quicktime which is played in
Director.   From what I've read on this list, animating textures on a plane
that are
greater that 512x512 requires a lot of stitching of polygons together in a
seemless plane.   I've yet to see an example of this, so if anyone has such a
demo, I'd love to check it out.   My concern is that animating something of
this
size at 1024x768 would be too CPU-intensive.   (Although we are just demoing
on high-end PC's)
