OK, after debugging the web server crashing under the load, I noticed
that Jesse Houston pointed out that I had mis-copied the URL for the
HTTP download of XSI Character.
Here's the correct one;
http://www.mesmer.com/pdfs/XSI_Character_2004_Mesmer.pdf
The other one via HTTP was using the mesmer filebank, which I wrote in
PHP, and it loads the whole file and writes it to a TCP/IP remote
socket, which is clever but horribly memory inefficient.....
This one ought to be way faster and more stable. Try This one.
