Edge Crease Values anyone?

Edge Crease Values anyone?

Have many folks out there used "Edge Crease Values" on a character in
production at all? From my simple tests they seem to hold up pretty fine
while being twisted with an envelope. But I'd like some input on real
world experience before I head down this route. Currently, I'm tripling
the edges on polygonal meshes before I run a Catmull-Clark aproximation
on them. I've been trying single edges with crease values and I'm
getting pretty good results but I thought I'd throw it out to the floor
for pros and cons and possibly some sage advice.

p.s. Nice one Andrew!
