Hi,
I want to override a partition with a black constant shader ONLY for PRIMARY RAYS. I need to keep the original object shaders for the SECONDARY RAYS.
My other partition got a reflexion shader to reflect those SECONDARY RAYS.
Is it possible to use a Ray_type to tell the partition what is the "Eye" shader and what is the "reflexion" shader.
In fact I just want to do a simple reflexion pass with an opaque alpha matte for non reflective object.
What is the best workflow to do this ?
Hi Guillaume,
as I don't know how to solve the Ray_type thingy, I would set up 2 passes : one for the reflection, (1 partition with the visible object with an override to turn the primary rays off, 1 partition with the reflection object) and one for the matte/mask
you can composit them later on...
or am I missing something ?
