Back First, sorry everybody for the big attached file :-(
Thanks for your help Lawrence :-). It works perfectly, and it was so easy to do :-p
> ... In your second problem just select your grid and go into the texture editor, under UVs turn on wrap in U and wrap in V...< I often do that way but I thaught the "Texture Edit node" had the same Wrap function as the Texture Projection PPP. But in this case, it works differently ???
Thanks again
Guillaume

Hi Guillaume,
I think people on the whole don't like attachments which are too big! Just letting you know.
In your first problem, use a _2D_Gradient shader instead of a dot, you can use the one you've got there already, just adjust the ramp so that the colours are fairly hard, have the positions on your colours set to something like 0.48 and 0.52 depending on how you want your bump to look. You've got it set to Radial wave already which is what you need, bypass the mix2colours node, and finally unplug the nodes going into your ambient and diffuse inputs and it works fine
In your second problem just select your grid and go into the texture editor, under UVs turn on wrap in U and wrap in V.
Hope this helps
Lawrence

I'm trying to do some relatively simple things in the render tree and I can't do what I want :-(
First, I want some bump ONLY in the dot of the "_2D_dot" shader. Is it possible ? (see my .scn file for more info)
Second, when I scale down the texture support of an object with a shader composed of a "_2D_dot", I've got some distortion pb in the repeated dots patern . (see also my .scn file for more info)
Any advice on those simple shader things would be appreciate.
