FG & MB 2004-05-18 - By Manny Papamanos
Back Stefan, I've seen that successfully done before. That technique is especially useful when dealing with large scenes and when trace intensive. I usually use FG with the 2D mb output shader but that's cause I don't require photo realistic results. I've also tested FG with the 3D MB and it seems good.

render out the animatin with FG, then make a new pass and camera project the rendered images onto the geometry (select the background group and apply a constant material with the rendered images). Then add MB in the render settings. Doing FG and MB at the same time is nothing I recommend.
I hope it made sense, and that it helped.
