Back Hi Todd, Which version of XSI are you using. There was an issue with Animated Displacement Maps in 3.5 that was fixed in 3.5.1.1
I wasn't able to repro in 3.5.1.1 so if that is what you were using, do you have a simple scene that could reproduce the problem.

I have done a bit of checking on this and didnt find anything..
But i was tyring to do a displacement on a gird surface today.. using a fractal .. and animating the time parameter of the fractal.. i was using parametric displacement in the geo approx settings.. i could get the surface to displace fine.. but .. when i animated the time parameter.. nothing updated on the displacement... my workaround was to run the fractal first through the weight of a mix2color node and then into the displacement..this fixed it so that it updated the displacement... but it seems like a weird fix... has anyone else run into this?
