applying sc.op. presets

applying sc.op. presets

stuck again.
suppose I have an object with 2 point clusters and a scripted op having both
those point clusters as "in" connections. Now if I save this sc.op. as a
Preset, and want to appy that Preset to a diferent object with 2 point
clusters later, how would I do that.
I need to somehow specify which one of the clusters is #1/#2.

I've read about Port-level connection sets (marked with "[]"s) in the
manual, but don't seem to be able to get this to work.

For example,
ApplyOp "TestPreset", "sphere.polymsh, sphere.polymsh.CLS.Point,
sphere.polymsh.CLS.Point1"

gives me the
"Invalid objects used for connecting to an operator"

using the []'s like mentioned in the docs (Applyop "TestPreset",
"[sphere......]") doesn't work at all.

Any help very appreciated yet again, probably I'm missing something basic.

Reinhard
