Procedurals in XSI for creating waves?

Procedurals in XSI for creating waves?

I am working on creating ocean surfaces and for this particular thing I would
prefer to use procedurals in XSI for displacement. Trouble is it seems a bit
hard to get a good wave shape with the included procedurals. I have had good
succes with Combustion Turbulence and wonder if anyone here know how to get
that from the Rendertree?

See comparison here:

http://colorshopvfx.dk/XSI/fractal_displace_comparison.jpg

The Combustion Turbulence creates nice ridges for wavewcrests as seen to the
far left, and I seem to be unable to even get close with Fractals or Cloud
nodes.

Any suggestions?

TIA!

Best Regards
