RenderTree Node 2004-05-10 - By Bernard Lebel
Back Hi GuysIt's explained in the doc, dude. Don't click the ? point, check the true docs.
Integer, scalar, vector, color and such are datatypes. This is the type of data a node outputs. Integer is a round number, scalar is a real number, vector is three numbers that represent a coordinate system, color is four scalars, boolean is a yes/no (basically a checkbox), and so on.
Conversion nodes are used to convert from one datatype to another. Share nodes are simple node to provide a values of a given datatype. Math nodes are used to perform simple to complex mathematical operations on shader values.
Cheers Bernard
