The 3DS max people recommend that you use plasma. If I recall, you can
use the bone sets from plasma inside 5.

Subject: [Dir3d-l] links and bones drama

Hi people
I desesperately trying to use bones and skinning in Shockwave3d.
even with grouped mesh+bones, some bones rotations are lost
I first discover that Suckwave3d doesnt support mirrored bones (fun
results with scaled arms and legs...)

I test a simple animation: a box linked to another wich is linked to
another
if I animate a rotation on each box and group the 3 boxes... no
animation is exported
I use MAX 6! When  the hell they'll integrate a real exporter in 3ds
MAX?????
(notice that the suckwave tutorial in max6 is really stupid)
thx

Loran
