Back I found it.
this is weird..
but apparently the only way to do what i want is to select the keyframe you want to flip... then draw a region around them (that cool editing region thing in the AE) then right click near the curve.. and select curve>flip (time or value)
that will only flip the points selected...
if you dont have the region around them ... the entire curve flips.. evens if the points are tagged..
weird... but.. thats what i was looking for.
