We are missing one more thing which I have used with great results in Maya: Face Station, or any other facial tracking software (without expensive face mocaps). It has worked really well for me. You record your face, audio and input a text file used for speech. The software automatically recognized emotions and phonetics and linked them to the blend shapes you produced. This is the only thing I'm missing from plug-ins for XSI :-).
