You could also store the global animation to a source, then create a
connection map that connects global to local, and apply the source back.<br>

actually a     plugin to convert local animation to global animation
and then back, to     change parents without losing the global
animation on an object... you could     hack it in half and just keep
the bits to transform the global animation     into local one... it's
a little ugly though as it uses the plot function to     transfer the
animation, but with mocap and�RBDs from RealFlow     it�might not�make
any difference as the curves�may have a     keyframe every frame...</font></div>
