XSI and ZBrush 2004-04-30 - By greg punchatz
Back >From my tests it works fine, you just have to flop your image when in xsi when you get it back from zbrush.
Zbrush does not replace Deep Paint (or body paint). It does not support layers and channels like a traditional 3d paint package. It is how ever the best tool for creating displacement maps and to some extent bump maps.

Hello all,
Does anyone know if it's possible to get mesh from XSI (via .obj) into ZBrush and it respect the UVs? I've heard rumour that this is tricky. The thinking is to export our models into ZBrush paint over any nasty texture seams and then export back into XSI. However if ZBrush doesn't respect the UVs then it sort of defeats the object. :(
Plus it's cheaper than Deep Paint ;D
Has anybody had any experience/success with this?
ahthankyou,
J.
