Back I have had some luck getting each machine to write it's own FG map by putting $COMPUTERNAME in the fg map file path as the name! Oh yeah - had to go quite high on the accuracy as well - I have used 4000 before with 0.01 and 0.6 on min max! - yep I'm mad, it did render tho'!

Hi all! Maybe this as been discussed before but here is my question;
What is the best way to setup Final Gathering and photon map when rendering on a network? Is it better to put it in "append" or "overwrite" mode?
I also remember reading something about putting the photon map in "read only" mode...
Thanks!
