Subject: Exports 2004-09-18 - By Dunbar
Back Thank you for so much info, I will have to search the web for Blitz3D and UU3Ds' websites. Have you be able to find a DirectX9 plugin for Maya? So far I havent found any as of yet. But I am able to convert Maya to .X using DeepExploration. I tested the conversion by using DirectX9s SDK Mesh Viewer, so far the models and texures convert perfect, next I'm going to test how anim. holds up. What level of skill would you need to work with Blitz3D. Do you have any screen shots or links to projects you've been working on using Maya and this game engine. Thanks again for you time and info. takecare, Dunbar

Poly meshes can be exported from maya by exporting as *.x (directX > format), and bringing into Blitz. The V direction of UV maps has to be > flipped, but it works well.
