Back Position Title: Graphic/PS2 Programmer (SE III level)
Key responsibilities
What does this position do?
1. Refactor existing micro codes for PS2. 2. Implement graphic design features. 3. Support graphic content pipeline on PS2, XBOX and GameCube. 4. Write graphic creation tools. 5. Build an effect system in game. 6. Fulfill PS2 Technical Requirement Checklist requirements. 7. Work with and maintain a set of proprietary application tools.
What are the success factors?
1. Strong C++/C programming skills 2. Detail knowledge about PS2 hardware and microcode 3. Advanced 3D graphic background for console platforms. 4. Fast learner. 5. Self-starter. 6. Team player. 7. Good communication skills. 8. Ability to distill complex systems into easy to understand diagrams, charts, and storyboards. 9. Object oriented design skills: can break down complex systems into modules and define interfaces. 10. Scheduling skills: can properly gauge tasks and their dependency. 11. Passion for games and game development.

Technical skills and experience

Solid console game and 3D graphic programming experience: either has done or is well-versed in graphic topics such as lighting, shadows, animation, particle system on PS2. 3. Proven experience having facilitated game engineering process by turning abstract game concepts into real tangable tasks. 4. Computer Science or related degree (e.g., Math or Engineering) preferred.
