Senior Tools Developer Needed
Responsibilities
? Technical Lead of team developing integrated suite of game authoring
tools.
? Work with game runtime architects and tools team to design authoring
and asset conditioning pipelines.
? Create original tools that will allow artists and designers to
independently author game content
a.. Co-write technical design and software design documentation
? Communicate with a range of artists, technical, and management
individuals to understand requirements, and develop/describe solutions.
? Partner with multi-disciplinary talent to solve inter-departmental
workflow challenges
Requirements
? 7+ years of programming experience with emphasis on PC application
development and Graphical User Interface Design
? Strong Technical Leadership Skills
? Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
? Excellent oral and written communication skills
? Strong PC based application architecture skills
? Excellent C++/C# programming skills.
? Knowledge and experience with .NET Architecture
? Maya or 3D Studio Max Plug-in or script development experience
? Strong sense of good UI design
? Understanding of Model View Controller Architecture
? Experience with applied use of XML based data formats.
? BA or MS in computer science/electrical engineering or equivalent work
experience
Preferred Requirements
? Game Development Experience
? Experience building data driven pipelines
? Ability to distill, balance and prioritize requests from multiple
clients
? Experience managing large sets of data and graphics efficiently.
? Strong Math and Computer Graphics background with good understanding of
3D
? Oracle/SQL/ADO (or other RDBMS) proficiency
? Scripting language experience (TCL, Python, Lua, Perl, etc.)
? Level Design Tool programming experience
? Art experience/knowledge or interests
