After a complete uninstall of ATI drivers and control panel (including
history and registry cleaning), these drivers turned succesfully my
mobility radeon 9600 into a mobility firegl t2. Kaydara diagnostics
identifies the open GL renderer as a mobility FireGL t2 and with
softimage XSI opengl settings, all display bugs (raycast selection of
components) have disapeared.
