Back You could extract the curves you want to keep and then delete the original. Select the curve, now in the selection menu which says Curve Boundary (top right of screen) click the little arrow and change it to Subcurve. Now select the curves you want to keep (they should turn red). Now select Create > Curve > Extract from subcurves Freeze the extracted curves, then delete the original.
Hope this helps Chris

Ok,
I have an extrmely complex curve with many many overlapping curves. I want to delete some of the smaller subcurves ... I see no way to do this .. I cannot completey delete a subcurve using delete point, and there is no delete subcurve option.
I know that I can select all the subcurves and then deselect the ones I dont want ... extract subcurves .. freeze and then delete the original. The problem is that this particular curve is extremely complex with overlapping curves in tight areas. That workflow could take me hours.
