they look to be using a metasphere type solution to get around the geometry
building problem. the L system itself isn't too difficult, it's the geometry
building that's the problem. Unless you want something fairly simple, don't
underestimate just how tricky this is.

Hi folks

I'm looking for a solution for growing plants in 3D. I've taken a look at
xfrog, but it's ony available for cinema 4d it seems. Does anybody know of
anything similar that would work with XSI or as a stand alone?

Of course any useful tips or pointers on how to do this 'naked' in XSI would
be great!
