Back I really wanted our place to get this, but what Soft was charging was pretty extortionate IMO......... I'm seriously glad we got by with Smedge (Actually when I say got by, it's been pretty good on the whole, once you get used to some of it's peculiarities....). O.K. I know comparing the two is a bit like comparing a Lada to a Porsche but the Lada still gets you where you want to go.
Now it's bundled I'm pleased as punch, but i would definately be pissed if I'd forked out all that cash.... I can empathise with Phillip on this one for sure. Syflex, fair enough, it possibly takes a great deal more R&D to develop and it's wasn't developed by Softimage anyway. But a render manager.....
My 2 cents.
