interactive render 2004-04-20 - By Benjamin Huber
Back thanks for the replies,
the issue of double shift-q and/or mmb-q restarting the interactive renders seems to be one of these cases where the software expects the user to behave counter-intuitively: if the render doesn't stop, people usually repeat the step that's supposed to make it stop, which does exactly the wrong thing - restart what we wanted to stop in the first place. i think this happened countless times to me. and it will probably happen again, despite me knowing better now. it's just one of those hard-wired things. ;)
thanks for pointing that out!

Same problem with Shift-Q. Very handy, but don't hit it twice.

Be careful with the q+mmb combo because if you hit it twice, you'll get the render region back and it'll start rendering again.
