Real Flow - NextLimit or other choice?

Real Flow - NextLimit or other choice?

I think Realflow is great software and getting really nice
fluid motion can actually be acheived quite quickly but
making it LOOK like water is another matter. A very fine
mesh can give decent results but I have to say the best
results I've seen have always been using it's particle
importer with proprietary shaders on top. Unfortunately if
you don't have an RnD dept you're stuck with making the
best of the mesh or as Andi mentioned the blob shader in
XSI.
