Real Flow - NextLimit or other choice?

Real Flow - NextLimit or other choice?

I think the idea is that you use the blob shader. Unfortunately rendering
the blob shader with more than a few hundred particles seems to drive the
render times WAY up.

i generally run the other way when people mention fluids!!

Having said that...a company i used to work for wrote a metaball style
shader for soft3x that worked quite well. Perhaps if you have an rnd
department you could get them on the case.

I am now working on a project that uses realflow with xsi. After you
made a simulation in RF you can choose to export back particles or mesh.
When i used the mesh import i had really no problem and everything seems
to work great. But when i tryed to import back the particles in xsi i
could only made them act like a cloud (smoke) but not like a fluid.
I asked here if anybody had some experience but i recieved no answers so
far. I'll let you know if i find something new.

Regards,
D
