Real Flow - NextLimit or other choice? 2004-04-19 - By Chris Marshall
Back Why are you trying to import the particles, not the mesh? We've just used it extensively and it worked great. What I liked was you could import the meshes into XSI, then if you process it again in realflow, the meshes automatically update in XSI, which made testing a whole lot easier. If you're doing a lot of collision detection, make sure you use a volume deamon around your scene.

I am now working on a project that uses realflow with xsi. After you made a simulation in RF you can choose to export back particles or mesh. When i used the mesh import i had really no problem and everything seems to work great. But when i tryed to import back the particles in xsi i could only made them act like a cloud (smoke) but not like a fluid. I asked here if anybody had some experience but i recieved no answers so far. I'll let you know if i find something new.
