ray.xsi MI2 framerange issue

ray.xsi MI2 framerange issue

if i generate a MI2 file using increments for any framerange that doesn't start
with frame 1 (like, e.g. 30-40) and then render it setting the -render flag to
any frame range within the range of the MI2 file (like, e.g. 33-36 with an
increment of 1), the render fails. It only works if i don't use the -render
flag and render all frames at once.

---

example:

generate something like 'filename.20_25.mi2'
render it using 'ray.xsi /Mi/filename.20_25.mi2 -render 22 24 1 -v'

won't work,

using 'ray.xsi /Mi/filename.20_25.mi2 -v'

works

---

Is there a reason for that behaviour? looks like a bug to me but maybe i'm
missing something?

thanks,

-ben
