Subject: Sprite cycling 2003-12-17 - By Jeff Kryvicky

Does anyone know why the sprite wizard only lets you choose up to 100 frames in the "Cycle Length in Frames" area, and is there any way to change or override it? I have some sprites that are in excess of 3000 frames, and would like to be able to set the cycle length appropriately. I'd like to play 1 sprite frame for every animation frame (assuming 24 fps). I'm guessing the only way to do this is to have the particles live for 3000 frames? this gets very unwieldy very quickly, given the amount of particles I have in the scene, and the fact that they're also a part of a flow object, so the speed of the particles is affected by the length of the wire which also effects the particle life span. (boy, that's a mouthful....)
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff
