Hmmm, I really don't see why this should be done in 16 bits...

In the FX tree use the MathComposite node and 'Screen' the reflection pass. you
can use the 'Mix Level' to control the amount of reflection. 'Screen' does the
same as 'Add' but in a smarter way (with 'Screen' values cannot go higher than
1, no need to clip).

Never use the alpha channel of a picture to comp light effects (reflections,
glow, flares, etc.)

When you need to add light to a picture always use Screen.
When you want to remove light from a picture always use Multiply.

   worringly stupid question, but my tired brain cant figure it out today.
   How comes when I render a reflection pass and combine it with my beauty
render, does the reflection pass not seem as "strong" as how it would
originally.
   I swaer ive never had this prob before.
   Does that make sense?
