Are you using special shaders (not shipping with XSI) applied to partitions?
Normally it shouldn't cause problems, but if the shaders are not installed
that might be a cause.
Other than that, you could take your original scene, delete all the objects,
delete the passes you don't need, save that, then merge it on the other
machines and see what happens.
