Which brings us to the next question, will there be any discussion regarding kernels and future versions of XSI? The new hardware compability in kernel 2.6.x is amazing. With my Dell 5150 had no problems at all installing Fedora (a few tweaks which was easy enough to get around). But after that I couldn't run XSI, and as Kim I had to install Xtra Problems again...
Backups/permissions/link tabs/ are sooooo much easier in Linux. And as Rafaele said "chmod 777 foo.scn" is a helper (not to mention that administrator always override the user).
well... sorry for the bandwidth :)
