Back http://www.xsimontreal.com/images/fire.zip by will, it's in the tutorials section of softimage.com, and I think even in the demo scenes since 3.5.

Hi All,
I'm trying to emit particles from grid (blobs even). And for the density of the emission I would like to use a grayscaled image that I've painted. So that the white areas has full emission and the black has no emission. Is this possible? I would like to do this in xsi and not in maya (*sigh* said a bad word). So I would appreciate if someone could give me a pointer or two if this *is* possible at all in xsi.
best regards
