This is really just another version of the earlier query about persistant
data in scripted ops. It can be done by using static globabl variables but
the behaviour would be not unlike qstretch, where the last position is where
the object previously was rather than where it was one or two frames prior
and you'd probably need to plot the animation when you're happy with it.
